I've finished "Her Dark Plastic Roots", the Astro City Beautie Special. It is the story of a human-sized super-powered "Beautie" doll seeking her origins. This is one of Kurt's most touching stories (and one of the creepiest, according to our former editor! "It creeps me out to see a six-foot Barbie Doll punching out criminals!") The Astro City Beautie Special is scheduled to ship in February 2008.

In the meantime, I've been working on TecKnight "Jar of Ashes." There are ten more pages of layouts and some pre-production art in the Works-In-Progress section of the website. I hope to find a publisher soon, but until then I will add "Tec" work here as I finish it. Enjoy!

Other news: I am working with Marv Wolfman on a two-part Brave and the Bold story for DC Comics. My dream team-up is the comedic mismatch of a certain green ringer and my son's favorite red flexible rubber band man. Say no more, nudge nudge, wink wink.

I mentioned a few weeks back of my involvement last summer with The Imaginists community theater ensemble production The Divide/La División. There is currently a documentary about the creation of The Divide produced by Oscar Guajardo on YouTube. Check it out at www.theimaginists.org.

Until later, enjoy!

Here is a TecKnight interview I did with Jennifer Contino at The Pulse at Comiccon.com last May. Enjoy!
